    With obvious design elements from the broader Airconic range, American Tourister have stayed true to form with an increased level of functionality on their 55cm carry-on option. Available in black and a navy blue colour option, the ‘standard’ double-spinner wheels, polypropylene material and locking systems are all borrowed from the simpler carry-on piece.

    The lock gets a bit of an upgrade with an extended zipper puller section of the front laptop compartment also being able to be closed on the same TSA system. A convenient USB-port is also included for the carryon which connects to an internal powerbank (not supplied) so you can charge your peripherals with a cable on the outside.

    Whilst the internal packing area is similar albeit a bit smaller due to the front pocket, the new laptop organiser section includes space for a 15.6″ inch screen as well as a tablet and other devices for you on the go.

    A nice touch from the brand is the upgrade of the zipper line to a splashproof version so in the event of rain or spillage, the case can give your devices limited protection.
