Samsonite Spectrolite 3.0 Laptop Backpack

Whilst the bag looks very similar across all three different sizes (14″; 15.6″ and 17.3″), only the two larger sizes feature an innovative expander feature in addition to the extra laptop sleeve size. Expanded dimensions measure:

• 15.6″ 42.5 x 30 x 23cm – 26.5L
• 17.3″   46  x 32 x 24cm – 30.5L

There is so much to describe here: multiple pockets on the bag offer quick access storage for bulky and flat items. A small rear security pocket offers even better anti-theft features for personal items. The front pockets are easily reached while the side bulk pockets offer space for peripherals, small water bottles and compact umbrellas.

The double-padded adjustable backpack straps provide comfort and prestigious look and feel with the blend of materials whilst a height-adjustable sternum strap with reflective properties offers ergonomic carry and safety at night on foot or bicycle. A top grab handle and small top strap loop complete the carry setup.

The two main compartments offer good packing space – even for the 14″. Enough space for A4 size products as well as another internal zipper and pocket for your powerbank. This powerbank supplies charging to your exterior USB port for on-the-go charging (powerbank not included). The main laptop section is well protected and also includes and elastic retainer strap and space for your digital tablet.

Spectrolite 3.0 is an incredible step up in terms of a premium business offering. The Pro-DLX 5 range from Samsonite offers similar feature and quality finish but we’ve been really impressed with the detail on hardware, mix of superb materials and general presence of a Samsonite premium look that it may be considered quite tough to beat this price point in an exclusive high-end market.
