The NOrth Face have converted these attributes into a wheeled duffle version that offers 2 colours across 3 sizes – all with the same ruggedness and build quality expected from one of the world’s leading adventure travel brands.

Not to e confused with the brand’s traditional “Rolling Thunder’, the Base Camp version looks like it is going to phase out the older model. Similar features like the hard shell backing along with no-nonsense telescopic handle system are retained while slight improvements like front paneling design and larger diameter wheels boost the performance.

There is a price tag with these updates of course but such is the quality and build that it is going to take a long time for you to need another duffle bag in this travel category.

The brand has offered 3 sizes: a 22″ carry-on version along with a Large 28″ version as well as a mammoth 36″ version which packs a stunning 160L in a touch over 5kg. Considering the tech on board for sturdiness, that is impressive. The Large 28” will be the most popular offering although all include the same internal features of a packing divider with compression system to optimise packing and movement in transit. Note that the Extra-Large duffle does not have a trolley hande system but two top grab handles to lug around the extra weight.

The new large wheels are fantastic and everything about this luggage says durability and toughness with plenty of brand appeal. The North Face is an international leader and confidently states that you mean business on your travels with luggage that will look after you.
