The North Face Base Camp Duffle collection has arguable set the gold standard for adventure travel duffles. Premium quality and tough as nails. The North Face have added the Voyager series as a sub-collection and it looks set to be a winner.

The design is a bit more rectangular but still meeting the premium quality of laminate materials (majority of which is recycled for the environment) and tough webbing. The North Face have made it a bit lighter, aiming the range towards a more ‘formal’ duffle whilst the traditional Base Camps target the ‘Back and Beyond” traveller!

Internally, there is a mesh pocket as well as allowances for laptop leaves. A top zipper stash pocket is great for quickly needed items like passports, water bottles etc. A heavily stitched interior and chunky zips ensure the quality standard of the brand and adventure travel is met.

As with the original Base Camp, an adjustable shoulder strap system with ergonomic carry design tightens on your back for simple, hands-free carry. These can be stowed away and allow you to use the duffle with carry grips on the top and side as well as dual hand grips. Web Hooks also allow extra exterior hang space and tightening points if you intend to hold more of your stuff on the outside.

The North Face Voyager comes in a 42L carry-on approved design along with a medium-sized 62L Check-in option. Both are great for shorter stays and local trips whilst the 42L could also double as a gym/weekend bag. The North Face have supplied the Voyager in Black (with White TNF writing) and Navy Blue (with Gold TNF writing).

Sure to be a winner. We love the elegant look and design but are so happy that the brand have stuck to the quality and workmanship that have made this Base Camp duffle collection a class leader.
