Delsey have put a lot of thought into this collection. The 3 colour options are lovely and complement the design element of the suitcase very nicely. All 3 sizes get an expansion feature which is particularly useful when traveling abroad and bring back extra. The check-in sizes have a patented ‘overweight indicator’ on the side carry handle. Simply put, a red indicator shows if your luggage exceeds 22kg – nearing the weight of most international commercial airlines. A lovely touch.

The 55cm carry-on gets a USB connection point built into the lock. This attaches to your own charging battery so you can quickly and conveniently charge your devices on the go.

All cases have smooth rolling, durable double wheels and along with the telescopic handles, the drive system is solved and user-friendly. The integrated 3-dial combination lock make travel to the US and their regulations a breeze.

Delsey have their own patented Securitech 2 safety zipper system. The main compartments have 2 zipper lines making penetration through the zip that much more difficult. Along with the lock, Delsey claim that it is up to 3 times more safe than a conventional zipper.

Another innovative feature is that the inner lining (using recycled materials) can also be easily unzipped and removed and then washed – a nice way to keep the inside of your case walys clean. The usual organisers are there – internal dividers, pockets, stuff pockets and retainer straps on a printed lining.
