The baguette handbag from Polo is a new design style and slots in perfectly with the rest of the quirky Stanford handbag collection. Offering a single grab handle or chain strap, the handbag can be carried in different ways adding versatility to stunning looks and print design in two colour and trim options.

A smart gold-colour twist lock closes the flap over the top of the main compartment but also adds a nice hardware element to the handbag. The inner features a familiar inner zip and slip pocket. Space is on par with other handbag designs although this is a lengthier handbag.

A cute single handbag grab handle is permanently fixed to the handbag offering a hand, elbow or tightly tucked shoulder grip. Add on a gold colour metal chain that joins to a matching colour shoulder pad and the handbag can be worn as a crossbody or on a single shoulder.

The ‘baguette’ shape with partially structured sides is an unusual design but there can be no doubt that it will find favour with a younger generation. Time will tell if it is  a design demanding continuity but with that Polo badge on, chances are highly likely.
